why do modern footballers pretend it isn't the cash and are all obsessed for playing for the team most likely to win stuff? what happened to loyalty etc?

and ryan giggs has just been awarded player of the month for the first time in his career (600 months) - unbelievable

and most importantly - can the mighty darlo turn round the slump they are in? will our exec continue to boo our manager for his substituions?

denmark finaly got a team in the champions league, they are in group F with benfica, celtic and a french team, i think they are calle le menchaster united or something.

i dont really watch the danish league, but i likie to watch the last few rounds of champions league, cos they know how to play the game, so i thought i would get some tickets, cos apparently the danish team is from the city i live in, but unfortunently they were all sold out before i got home from work.

but good luck in the champions league, to you who got your team in it.

Loyalty disappeared long ago. Actually having said that, have we ever had loyalty? Of course, there are a few players who have given their career to one club - Giggs is one. On the whole though, its all down, as always, to money. Although Sky has been great for the game, it also has a lot to answer for.

One thing that always irks me is when players say in the press they want to play for Real Madrid or whoever it may be. Ok, now i'm not disputing that most players would love to play for Madrid, we all know that, and it may be the certain players dream move but dont come out and say it in the papers. Surely these guys understand that it causes upset, worry, anger etc for the fans of the club they currently play for.

J, thats an interesting fact about Giggsy, i cant believe this is his first player of the month award. Crazy.

It's the shirt kissing that gets me. They don't care who they play for so long as they are getting tons of cash.

When players are happy to sign for a club and sit on the bench and take the money then the game is headed in one direction only and that is down.

We need a worldwide salary cap to be introduced before it gets out of hand. Then maybe these players will realise just what the game is all about. Passion, desire and glory.

Too right. I always thought that football would be better if they only got paid £200 a week and got £50 bonuses for winning and clean sheets. Then you'd see a bit more effort put into the game!
